In London there is not much value for money when it comes to hotels, a 4 star hotel in the capital, could easily pass for a 2 star hotel in another city.
Premier Inn is a hotel chain that offers great value rooms at excellent locations in the capital, with over 700 hotels in the UK they are the largest hotel chain in the country. My favourite is their Premier Inn London Hampstead Hotel as it is located in one of the best parts of London to live. The hotel makes for a great base for visitors who wish to be in a tranquil , leafy area but close to all the major attractions London has to offer. It is about a 3 minute walk from Belsize Park Underground Station and 10 minutes from Hampstead Heath Station. It also offers on-site parking, and a 24-hour front desk.
I stayed at Premier Inn London Hampstead Hotel for one night, we arrived quite late as we were coming back from Peppa Pig World in Southampton but this wasn’t an issue. The check in was efficient and a friendly receptionist welcomed us in and explained everything we needed to know about our stay.
The hotel felt very secure which for me is a must as I was staying with my two year old, to access the rooms you enter via a secure door only guests of the hotel can access.
Our room had a double bed, a sofa bed, and they kindly offered us a cot but the big bed with extra pillows was so comfy that my two year old and I slept soundly that night.
The room had everything I needed for a short stay; a work desk and a TV with satellite channels, Wi-Fi access, tea/coffee facilities and a hair dryer. The toilet was quite small and maybe just like the room, it needs a bit of an update. However, both room and toilet were very clean and tidy. The bathroom had a great power shower so no need to waste water just trying to get it right, and it also had a bath. The hotel provides the all in one shower and shampoo dispensers but they are a bit harsh on the hair so try and take your own toiletries if you can.
The next morning we tried the famous Premier Inn Breakfast which had a good selection of freshly- cooked items and pastries. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, beans and loads of healthy options such as organic yogurts, cereals and fruits. The coffee is Costa Coffee and again, you can have as many cups as you wish!
The check out is 12pm and we left rested, happy and ready to have a fun day out in Hampstead .Premier Inn London Hampstead Hotel offer good prices, clean and comfortable rooms in one of the best places to stay in London, the NW3 postcode. Expect a very cosy snuggly bed in a safe welcoming environment , a power shower and a lovely breakfast. It is also close to Central London and only 5 minutes away from the bus stops in the Finchley Road that take you to both Stanstead and Lutton airport. Thanks Premier Inn for the good night sleep and comfy stay.
