I filmed this footage in Harbour Island, Bahamas. This is the popular Queen Conch stand and the lady running it is one of the 11 children of Ma Jacqueline, a local woman well known amongst those born and bred in Briland. She features in a documentary Im editing. My time there was magical and Bahamian people are so friendly, relaxed and easy going, it is easy feel right at home in that beautiful place. I was lucky to be a finalist in a competition for filmmakers that sent 14 directors to 14 island in the Bahamas to create a short film. I film there the fiction short film, The girl on Holiday, but also plenty of videos and my upcoming doc.
